Approx 4 months ago someone posted a url of a site that hosts may visit to look up the names of domians that could be hackers or problem clients.

anyone remember this url? searchs came up empty

I seem to remember there was talk about starting one but I don't know if that actually happened. You might want to do a search on AltaVista (http://www.altavista.com), Google (http://www.google.com) or HotBot (http://www.hotbot) and see if you can find anything posted on the domain name in question.

I checked the hostabuse.com, thanks. But have a doubt how much legal and reliable it is. Can we trust to give any company/customer details (who spammed and put charge back when account stopped) we had problem with without any fear of getting sued or further problems with those particular clients.

I don't think there could be any risk on posting your experiences there.
They are your experiences, and as long as you are truthful about that experience you shouldn't be at risk for anything.
Anyone can sue you, but will they win their case?

I'm not a lawyer.. but if you fear this, you should consult with one first.

You can also go and join the host coalition forums (http://www.hostcoalition.org) where a bunch of us hosts get together and try to help one an other out.

In general any service (and there are many out there) that let one person give a "review" or rating on someone else has potential for abuse. IMO take the results with a grain of salt. Maybe the person was trouble but you don't know what the other person may have done to them first. As they say, there are 3 sides to every story: 1) Yours; 2) Theirs; 3) The truth.
