No you have to initiate a transfer. No push.

What do mean make a trade? What are you proposing?

Question: I have funds in Namecheap, ....

I think you can withdraw the funds from Namecheap.

I think you can withdraw the funds from Namecheap.

You can withdraw only 'withdrawable' funds, i.e. earned from your domain sales in their marketplace.

Licantropo, you can use the funds to renew your domain(s) there and contact their support and ask to push the domain(s) to your eNom account. They will most probably will ask you few security questions and then push the domain(s).

Good luck!

You can't push names from Namecheap to eNom.

But you can always ask their support to do this for you. I doubt they will say 'no'.

They'll say yes.

This became quite dumb discussion. Most probably we have very different experience with NameCheap.

just something to be aware of....... a namecheap username doesn't necessarily map to the same username on enom. (could be a different person)

I suppose it depends on who you know at NameCheap. Since they are eNom resellers.. it makes sense that they have an enom account they can "push" a domain just like any other eNom reseller.

However, I highly doubt front-line tech support at namecheap is going to have ability to do this. You will have to know someone "higher up" who has access to the namecheap eNom reseller account.. which is likely not many people.

So you have had a free push from NameCheap to eNom? OK I'll ask them to do that for me and see how it goes. Was that from front line support or another department?

OK. I've asked support to push one of my domains. Let's see what happens.

Please post an update, according to Namecheap.com transfer policy (http://www.namecheap.com/learn/transfer-your-domain/transfer-domain-to-someone.asp) such transfers should be free.

That transfer policy refers to another NameCheap account. Not another eNom account.

OK Stan. I EAT MY WORDS. The push succeeded. This is definitely a change of policy. Before, you couldn't do that. You had to pay for a transfer at eNom.

Actually Stu,

You are correct. Our official policy is that domains cannot be pushed to enom. They must be submitted as a normal transfer request. In some rare cases we will allow it but that is decided on a per case basis and only by upper level management.

Thanks for all. I transfer then my domain to namecheap.

Thanks Richard. I thought that was your policy.

I noticed my second request to push a domain failed.
