I hope this post helps people that haven't updated their raq's..

Anyway, I just installed all the latest patches from the raq3 download site and everything seems fine. Be warned that you will need to reboot your computer for the dos update and the username update I believe.

i've got upto the end of january and a few feburary ones and things seem to be working ok. OS 4.0 was a pain to install though. Had to download the 24mb glib patch first then upload it to the server what a pain that was.

you should have just copied the url of the pkg file then login to your raq then just cd /home/packages

after that:

wget http://ftp.cobaltnet.com....../whatever.pkg

after that login to the installation software page and the pkg file should be in the pull down menu. much easier to use the bandwidth of the raq rather than downloading and uploading.

true, but why waste your time doing that when you can do it much much quicker by having it go to the raq directly.

next time i prolly will didnt realise i could do it that way. I'll do it that way in future.
