I downloaded the "Blue Lagoon" CPanel theme. Currently, it has a tar.gz extention. I've heard that the extension must be .cptheme, is this true? Do I simply rename the file?

In Windows, you'll need a program to uncompress the file, it's called PowerArchiver. Search for it on google because I'm to lazy to do it now :) Greg Haze 07-28-2002, 08:36 PM just rename the file. Get rid of the .tar.gz and make it .cptheme And fyi, you can open tar.gz files with winzip Synthetic 07-28-2002, 09:52 PM For some reason it won't work, I get an error message saying: "Checking Theme integrity......Sorry.. that's not a cpanel theme tarball!" JSpired 07-28-2002, 10:41 PM Hate to refer you to another forum, but there's a good answer to your question on the CPanel forums! (http://forums.cpanel.net/read.php?TID=1680) and in that thread in particular. Good luck! |
