Having problems with your "IRC allowed ddos protected" provider? Sign up with Awknet using paypal and receive 50% off your first month (50% refund at activation) - just email sales referring to the refugee special after signup!

Awknet specilizes in denial of service mitigation for dedicated customers. All dedicated servers are connected via 100Mbps fast-ethernet by default - no need to pay monthly upgrade fees. All legal content is permitted on our networks, including IRC shells and servers. Awknet utilizes customized packet inspection software to analyze traffic flows in real time. Typical saturation floods are blocked instantly. For more complicated TCP floods we rely on traffic pattern matching and dynamic ACLs to deny attacking source hosts. In the event flood sources can't be accurately tracked a temporary rule is generated to prevent traffic matching the malicious packet types from hitting your server for 5 minutes, while a NOC engineer is paged to further analyze the flows and build a custom ruleset if needed.

Don't have hands on any old school celerons - you'd be better off with the p4 2.53 512/40 for $79. If you only wanted, say, 300GB of bandwidth it could be had for $59/mo.

As for PIIIs - there's a Dual 1GHz, 2GB RAM, 18.2GB 10Krpm SCSI (could take additional 18.2GB 10Krpm scsi drive). I'd have to confirm how much power it pulls - but I'd guess you'd be looking at $99/mo.

Forgot to list this;

Intel Pentium D Dual Core 2.8GHz
* 2GB RAM
* 500GB HD
* 2000GB Outbound BW
* Unlimited Inbound BW

Hi,

I've couple of questions here.

Do you have any Intel Core 2 Duo dedicated servers?
You mentioned all dedicated servers come with 100 Mbps port, is this right?
What are the additional bandwidth upgrade options for then?
Is this port shared or dedicated 100 Mbps port?
If it is shared, how many servers are sharing it 1 single 100 Mbps connection?
How are the charges like if I use more then the permitted outbound bandwidth limit?

Thank you for answer my questions.

Outbound refers to traffic leaving your server destined to locations elsewhere on the internet. Inbound refers to traffic from the internet to your server.

We don't have any core 2 duo systems in stock, but they can be custom built.

Yes, all servers are connected to a full 100Mbps port. You're able to burst to a full 100Mbps. These are not sitting on a shared 100mbps uplink switch - all switches connect to the core via gigabit ethernet.

As for bandwidth - additional bandwidth is charged at the rates listed in the original post.
