Resolution of Buyer Complaint Case

PayPal has concluded our investigation of your Buyer Complaint.

Seller's Name: SHAWN WHITE
Seller's Email: paypal@cyberwings.com

Our investigation has determined that the seller is at fault, but we were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account.

Just to say if you go to www.cyberwings.com and go down to the bit that says Refund, then you should try that as Cyberwings is changing the way that it gives out refunds. I think that they issue checks / cheques now.

Hmm, how come they weren't able to just add the amount you paid to them to reflect within your account and just subtract the amount from Cyberwings' paypal account even though it might reflect a negative balance?

This has happened to me before, where PayPal just took money out of my account because of a buyer complaint and I had a negative balance until the buyer re-paid back the money they owed me.

Maybe they changed their policies on negative account balances... but I'm not exactly sure.

Good luck

hands up who's getting sick to death of Cyberwings posts.

Maybe the WHT people need to create a dedicated section for Cyberwings, or betterstill a "bitch here" section

Isn't it obvious? They have no money!

they have no money $ in their account, in fact from the way the paypal message was worded it sounds like they have suspended cyberwings/shawn whites account...

my favorite part is the bit about cyberwings issuing certified bank checks. yeah right. when i asked in chat how shawn was going to do certified bank checks to all people requesting refunds because around here anyway a cert bank check costs about 5-10 bucks, he said and i quote "i can do it because i don't have to pay for certified checks'.

yeah right, i bet he told rack shack and lightship he didn't have to pay for bandwidth either

CW probably keeps all the money in their bank account or CC, leaving their PayPal balance empty. Or maybe they just dont' want to refund people. Who knows...

He could be getting certified checks for free. My bank does that for me.

I doubt it though.

Or some need to get a life...... Who gives a flying f... about Cyberwings!
Some come here for information and now all we find is Cyberwings.
Cyberwings this and that. We get it, the guy is a crook. He took your money, we got it! Get over it and move on with your life.
Listen kids I have lost more money then you ever did with this guy. What did I do? Very simple, went out and made more money!
You are beating a dead horse in the ground and now people like me who once use to care, are now tired of hearing it!

Again, I gotta say... WHY THE HECK are you reading and posting if you are tired of CW threads?

Here's a simple lesson:

Internet Surfer A & B surf to the "WebHostingTalkForums".
Surfers A & B then navigate to the "Web Hosting Forum" only to see it peppered with threads about CW.

Smart Internet Surfer A decides to exercise his brain and *gasp*
Skip Over the CW Threads!!!!

gee...what a novel concept!

Not-So-Smart-Internet Surfer B decides to not only *read* the CW threads but (dum-dum-dum...drumroll please!)
Post and Respond!!!

therefore further perpetuating the CW threads, boosting their view count, and posting them higher up to the top of the page for MORE people to read and respond to!!

Makes sense to me.

Remove stick from rectum and stop being such an insensitive git, for a second, will ya? If you don't want to read Cyberwings posts, DON'T. There is PLENTY else to read here at WHT besides these few cyberwings posts that are actually important to a lot of people. So, instead of complaining, just don't click on them.

Thanks

He's probly cancelled the credit card / checking account / banking account associated with the paypal account - leaving paypal unable to take money from the account even if they wanted to.

Well, we're talking about a guy who got his plug pulled by 2 different providers in a one month span. Anything could have happened to his cards or accounts really.
