Does anyone know of a little program that goes into the systray and alerts you when you have new mail? I was using AIM however now with ensim we have to use users like user@domain.ext and aim just uses user therfore it doesn't work.

I used to use something called EzPop (http://www.glabouni.com/EzPop/). I haven't used it in awhile, but it sounds as though it may fit the bill for you.
