Is it me, or am I just dizzy from reading the forums all the time, but what does this post have to do with the question that was asked?
If you want to start a new thread, please do it. Too many of these get way off base.
Chicken 02-26-2001, 10:39 AM Yes, quite an early tangent, heh. Joel- welcome to the forum, but Weinbar has a valid concern. Note that you have to make at least 30 posts before you are allowed to throw threads into complete tangents :)
We're professionals at it (don't try this at home).

cbaker17 02-26-2001, 10:59 AM I believe there was a post about poor service or something from this host in a previous thread you may search for it
melia 02-26-2001, 03:50 PM I was considering them but I was told they have terrible support, have double charged clients, and just overall aren't worth it.
Bogdan 02-27-2001, 05:09 PM Hi..
melia:
"I was told they have terrible support"
Have you ever used our services to say that we have terrible support?
It's interesting to see when someone recommends a host on these forums, people jump to ask for their domain name, because they think that the comment might be false.
But when people do the opposite, people jump to conclusions, and do not even wonder if the person ever used the service. I'm not going to go on with this, and I hope you can see where I was going to.
"have double charged clients"
There was a time when it happened to our client, and we did a charge back. I take the blame on me, and I apoligize to the client (which I already did).
If you want to go on further with this topic, e-mail me or I can e-mail or phone you.
My ICQ is 97083776, if you want to ICQ me.
Thanks,
Bogdan
melia 02-27-2001, 05:18 PM I never said I used your services, I said, and you quoted me so I don't know why I'm bothering answering, but I said, "I was told." I was told - got it? - that you atomhost.com has poor support - by a client. I find nothing wrong in passing on information like that. Especially to someone interested in, I presume, your services.
I see nowhere in my post where I claimed to have used your services or even eluded to doing so. This board is a public forum for people to inquire about hosts and others to reply with any information they have on that host, not a place for hosts to get defensive and rip apart other people's posts.
Sorry, I honestly feel I did nothing wrong.
cbaker17 02-27-2001, 05:31 PM Woah, lets not get upset the very fact that he owned up to the issues says alot about him and his company. What we heard happened awhile ago, perhaps they corrected their problems.
Bogdan 02-27-2001, 05:33 PM Hi..
"I was told - got it?"
Can you just back up your post with some information?
Why? Because I would like to know the client who had problems, and I will be more than glad to help him/her out.
"This board is a public forum for people to inquire about hosts and others to reply with any information they have on that host, not a place for hosts to get defensive and rip apart other people's posts"
I do not see anywhere on this board, where is says 'Hots may not reply to any post.'
Would you mind telling me why I'm not allowed to defend our company?
Thanks,
Bogdan
melia 02-27-2001, 06:17 PM Maybe my reply was taken more harshly than meant, let me rephrase...someone asked about AH, I posted a reply about what a client or former client of theirs had told me when I was looking at them, that's all. I don't think it's fair to name names or point fingers. If that client has an issue with your company, they can deal with it with you. It's noble that you want to rectify it, and if you aren't having the problems or they have been fixed since, good for you. I'm only passing on the information that I was told. I don't see what's wrong with that. I honestly didn't mean it as an attack on you or your service. And I apologize if it was taken that way.
Edited: And I'm not upset...
Bogdan 02-27-2001, 07:42 PM Hi..
Thank you for your input.
BTW:
No offense was taken, I just tried to help.
Thanks,
Bogdan
