I sent an email to sales very early Friday...no response yet. I called before their closing time and got the machine. I'm a little annoyed at the lack of communication, but it can happen, so no biggie. On to my questions...

I figure some of you who host with them could answer these. Do you know what their per 1Mbps pricing is for Cogent and for Multi-Homed? Do they offer a backup on their Congent line? Is it possible to share the bandwidth among more than one server?

I think they have been moving offices over the last 3-4 weeks so that may be why you have not received a response (I have no personal knowledge of this, just what I have read hear). I think they may have a Cogent offering, but their main connection is from Yipes.

I have emailed them before, and normally the responses come within 24 hours. This week however, I have sent multiple emails with no response. They use yipes, uunet, and genuity to my knowledge. They, according to Charles, do not use cogent. I wish someone in Dallas would offer Cogent at the prices that Wholesalecolo does.

Yeah, the slow response is probably just due to the move. I do thing they can offer you Cogent (I thought I read that here recently). I don't think they "actually" have Genuity or UUNet. They have Yipes which peers with Genuity and UUNet based upon what I have read here and hear from customers.

I may have missed a couple of emails here or there, and im sorry. I get hundreds of sales emails a day, and some may fall through the cracks.

We have Yipes (Level3 and Genuity) UUNET and a seperate Level 3 connection not through yipes.

Everything is bgp routed, and more then likely were going to bring in Internap in addition to all the above but were waiting a few months and reevaluating their financial standing.

We can set you up on just a yipes connection which is bgp routed, or bgp route you between all backbones, its up too you dpending on your price point.

I can offer cogent but dont promote it.
