Hope this helps :-) Carl albonet 09-06-2007, 09:08 AM yes i have configured whmcs with my account, but i spaek of how works it when someone buy a domain include 09-06-2007, 10:04 AM You deposit funds in your directi account (as per the instructions in the link i gave you) and then when someone signs up the domain they request is registered and the funds are deducted from your account. You can set the domains to register automatically with directi through WHMCS or you can choose to accept each one manually. If you get too stuck - give matt at WHMCS an email, he will be more than happy to help :-) Carl ramdak5000 09-08-2007, 10:30 PM I am having trouble understanding this too. I actually added $50 and that has been stuck in the account ever since. My question is- if I have to physically add the funds for each customer, how can one say the process is automated? I have no idea which one of my existing customers will be registering a domain. Or, they may be new customers registering. So, how do I assign funds to them? Or, am I not understanding something? Does a reseller also need to open a customer account in their own name and add the funds here? And, this will be used whenever any existing or new customer registers a domain? Thanks in advance. jfm30204 10-08-2007, 05:41 PM I am having trouble understanding this too. I actually added $50 and that has been stuck in the account ever since. With Directi/ResellerClub, as in other registrars, you must have money in your account so that the registrar can register the domain. Otherwise, they would have to bill you for it, and they don't do that. So, the customer pays you, and Directi takes their money for the domain from your account with them. Then, you make new deposits as you fell you need to. Look at it like a checking account. You must make a deposit before you write a check. Domain registrations are "checks" which are deducted from your bank (Directi) account. |
