just sharing my rant here :D, As a host Pair is best but their pairNIC is making me... :rolleyes:
As a normal practice I locked the domain after registering at Pair NIC. I wanted to change NS settings and the nightmare started The process is as below
1. First initiate a "unlocking" through their custom control Panel
2. you will receive an email with "code" and link to click on. After clicking on the link you have to enter the the "code" and click submit
3. After submitting, it directs you to a PDF form which basically ask you to fill the form with authorization to transfer the domain and send it to Pair along with ID proof. And it says it can take up to 10 DAYS to unlock the domain.
4. So after 10 days, when my domain is unlocked I can change the NS settings
I am feeling like it was my worst mistake to have a domain with PairNIC.
