View Full Version : Speed Test Please
Hi, I just got a server from SmartWeb, and I'd like to see what kind of speeds I can expect from it.
I transfered the uumap.tar.Z file from ftp.uu.net:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--12:39:48-- ftp://ftp.uu.net/uumap.tar.Z
=> `uumap.tar.Z'
Resolving ftp.uu.net... done.
Connecting to ftp.uu.net[192.48.96.9]:21... connected.
Logging in as anonymous ... Logged in!
==> SYST ... done. ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD not needed.
==> PORT ... done. ==> RETR uumap.tar.Z ... done.
Length: 8,520,221 (unauthoritative)
100%[====================================>] 8,520,221 1.37M/s ETA 00:00
12:39:58 (1.37 MB/s) - `uumap.tar.Z' saved [8520221]

The file is now on my server at the following address:
http://64.57.210.173/uumap.tar.Z
I would really appreciate it if you could post the location, connection and speed for downloading the file from my server. :)
Thank-you in advance
