Hey there...I am having a problem with Paypal. I do not get subscription payments anymore. I had a look at the subscriptions and they still say "Next payment date: September 1". Not like when a payment fails it would say "next attempt date"... It just says next payment date: "September 1". I was expecting about 80 subscription payments today and yesterday but didn't get a single one. Anyone else having the same problem ?

PayPal posted a message on their website about this but it's not a very satisfactory answer.

Paypal wants to notify merchants that subscriptions are experiencing some delays and that will be back to normal around September 5, 2007 (Wednesday) or September 6, 2007 (Thursday). Please be assured that no subscriptions will be missed, just that the payout will be delayed.

I think they need to give all affected merchants some sort of compensation. Six month with no fees would work for me. But, since they have a monopoly of sorts, I do not expect them to do anything like that.

Thank god, most of my subscription fees come in on the 7th.

Now I have to wait for extra funding from my bank account to pay for my online expenses. And I was thinking if my billing system was messed or something.

Ya, a client email me ask about the delay payment and wonder why they still did not receive the receipt. Now, we got all the subscriptions coming in.

Received all my subscriptions today. :)
