Does any one have experience with them ? please share !
and if you have any other suggestions . you are welcome and thanx .
Kintallon 08-31-2007, 05:35 PM Don't know much about webhostingbuzz but I woul always reccommend to NEVER pay more than a month at a time until you have at least been with a host for a few months. :)
At least if they don't live up to expectations you can move on without losing money.
shadymasr 08-31-2007, 05:44 PM thanx Kintallon !
but i have very important sites for me , one of them for my professor at university and so on , so it's not good to transfer websites many times i need a trusted hoster .
Kintallon 08-31-2007, 05:56 PM thanx Kintallon !

Totally understand your sites are important :)
All I am saying is that whatever host you eventually choose could run into problems or turn out not to be suitable forcing you to look elsewhere, and having paid for a year do you stick it out because you cannot afford to move as they don't do refunds or do you move anyway and lose the money for unused service?
shadymasr 08-31-2007, 06:08 PM thanx again Kintallon ,
i agree with you .
but really i have bad experience with many many companies ...
so i'm searching for stability !
if you can recommend me reseller provider suite my need i'll be glad .
MrVega$$ 08-31-2007, 06:16 PM I have been using webhostingbuzz for some of my services.
They have their ups and downs just like any other provider.
I have not any large amounts of downtime so far.Just minor issues that are expected.
Their support is slow at times, but they normaly respond within a hour or 2 ( sometimes faster )
They do have phone support during business hours and live chat for sales questions.
They have a forum to get quick answers when needed from other members.
They just added more space recently to thier plans and they are in the process of installing mail foundry.
In my opinon they are decent for the price they charge.
I use their reseller plans.
shadymasr 08-31-2007, 06:42 PM thanx MrVega$ !
you make me more comfortable !
MrVega$$ 08-31-2007, 06:43 PM Glad I could help you some. :-)
kjawaid 08-31-2007, 06:49 PM with your budget i can only suggest knownhost , innohosting , resellerzoom ... however do read there AUP and TOS becz they have certain limits on cpu ram , email per hour etc usages ...
shadymasr 08-31-2007, 06:57 PM thanx again MrVega$ !
thanx kjawaid ! but all reseller plans in these sites don't suite my needs .
kjawaid 08-31-2007, 08:18 PM There is an old saying that "You get what you pay"
king_o_e 08-31-2007, 10:17 PM ok!
i used one of their reseller account that comes with 5 free domains!
it was just ok..., i didn't have any down time ! at least no down time anyone can mentioned!
and the support was just great...,you just need to go to the forum and you could find all answers!
they always keep up-to-date and they mentioned all what they do of development in the forum!
and if there is any kind of problem ..., like major down time or cpu problem
they just say that in the forum "they have a unique subforum for every server they have" they just tell you whats happening!
so ..., i recommand them for you!
Happy Hosting :)
shadymasr 09-01-2007, 03:35 AM thanx kjawaid !
ok ok i know , but 10 $ is the maximum budget i can pay monthly . and i think it's ok for my needs not bad . thanx again.
===========================
thanx king_o_e !
but may i ask you , how long did you used their services ? and are you still with them now ?
ldcdc 09-01-2007, 11:55 AM 90+% uptime That's actually a very poor uptime level, and a sign of a bad host. It's ~3 days of downtime per month.
99.9% yearly uptime is usually an achievable level, with somewhat lower expectations for budget hosting. Don't confuse the uptime guarantees with actual uptime levels that you'll experience. A guarantee is only monetary.
shadymasr 09-01-2007, 01:16 PM thanx idcdc !
i meant by 90+% uptime , more than 90 % uptime , i don't know really why i write this statment you are right it should be written as 99.9% yearly uptime ! ^&^
Webhostingbuzz is not a reliable provider if uptime is something you rely on. I've been using them for several months now and as of late, they've been experiencing short outages at least once a day, if not more. Fortunately for me they just run email and a few small domains that don't need to be up all the time.
shadymasr 09-02-2007, 03:32 PM thanx for advice TedS !
ldcdc 09-02-2007, 06:10 PM I've been using them for several months now and as of late, they've been experiencing short outages at least once a day, if not more. How are you monitoring uptime?
mdrussell 09-03-2007, 05:06 AM Whilst we have had the occasional outage like any shared hosting company does, we do not have daily outages. If you are having connectivity issues this frequently, please get in touch so we can diagnose and resolve.
shadymasr 09-03-2007, 09:18 AM mdrusell , so you are one of those who manage webhostingbuzz Dot com ?
mdrussell 09-03-2007, 11:55 AM Yes, I am.
How are you monitoring uptime?
As I mentioned, my primary use for this host is small sites and email -- nothing mission critical. Several of the email accounts are tied directly to my cell phone and connect every 15 minutes to their systems as well as those of another provider. In the event my email doesn't connect, I get an alert. That's the first indication.
I've also noticed outages just regularly trying to check my sites as well as complaints from people using them. I am not employing any sort of automated monitoring system but as the server is down right now, I'm fairly certain I don't need one to know there's been an issue. A few minutes here and there is not a problem, but when a provider goes down for 15-30 minutes, or more, multiple days in a week it's a red flag.
