Hi, im looking to start a hosting company and i came across rhserve.com

They are offering 'unlimited' bandwidth and space in there reseller and master reseller plans..

Im wondering how true this is and also if anyone else has used them etc..??

Cos the pricing is quite cheap, it seems to good to be true, and im always unsure about people offering unlimited bw an space. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

i joined them for £10 for a years unlimited resller hosting this price doubled the following year without them even warning me it was going to.
The customer service was terrible very slow to respond to tickets.
Downtime was terrible went down quite a lot and they never informed customers what was going on.
also what really annoyed me and why i dont use them anymore i still have a resellers account with them as i had to pay yearly was that twice they changed my name servers and never told me and each time my sites were down for a couple of days and each time i had to change the dns settings on about 20 domain names.
I have heard on another forum that it is run by a 17 year old who is only in it for the money and doesnt really care about the customer side of things

hi

looking at their site i cant find info about the hosting plans but it is on the billing system. They dont look like a real host to me. Personally I would recommend looking around.

Obviously you shouldn't expect too much from a £10 unlimited reseller account.
If it's true good unlimited, anyone can be a millionaire by selling unlimited hosting accounts :D

First rule is don't go for something that you don't really need just because the price is same. First make an estimate on the disk space and BW.
You won't be able to use these unlimited features, before you start using more resources, you will get suspended for violating a Tos or AUP, can be a memory usage or cpu usage etc.

Yes i wouldn't need the unlimited space and bw, but it would be nice to offer unlimited features myself.

EJNetworks sound even worse lol. Hope you get some good luck soon. It seems hosting can be a risky business.

Lots of teenagers now involved in hosting business and they offer unlimited reseller hosting or unlimited master reseller hosting for fast money and don't really care about their clients

I heard one hosting company run by a 15 years old and he/she got about hundreds of customers and most of them are not really satisfied with the service

Look around and see what you really want to start your hosting

Cheap is good but you get what you paid for and don't forget to read their TOS
