I'm curious what mutiplayer games you play most

We play a little everquest in the office every once in a while. I used to play on a regular basis, until I realized what a waste of time it was.

Now I use my spare time to consume large quantities of Bud Light :D

I'm a Tribes man. I've been playing for a year or 2 now. I used to belong to a clan. We had the clan website, the whole deal. It's fun and a great release from life. I don't play much these days. I might play once or twice a week just to keep my skills up to date. I mainly play shifter and specialise in defence. Noone gets past my Broadside defence. ;) :D

Its pretty cool -- its nothing like a Star Wars/Star Trek type theme... Its quite nice actually...

Counter-strike = graphic engine too old :(

Online: Quake3 or RTCW On the network here Duke3D is still by far the mosrt entertaining. :o

A little-known Mac-only onling RPG called Clan Lord (http://www.deltatao.com/clanlord/)... my roommate introduced me to this game, and now I'm hooked. It runs fine under the Basilisk II 68k Mac emulator.

I play TFC the most. And I also play tons of other HL mods. And NO I don't play CS.

I usually play AOE II: TC at MSN's Gaming Zone.

TFC and Soldier of Fortune II, but there aren't many online gameservers for that game. :(

I'm thinking about buying Warcraft 3. Has anyone played the earlier versions before? If so, how is the game rating from 1-10 (10 being "da bomb"). ;)

Also, I've been a Silent Death Online fan for a while until they shut down a year or two ago. What's a good alternative (PC or not), does anyone know?

Hey I like checkers.. Its easier to understand than that complicated chess thing. I tried to play it and some person kept talking about wanting me to move my stuff to his pawn shop or something!

When I play multiplayer games, I generally play Counterstrike (although it's rare).

There is also a MUD style game played through a browser I play occasionally called "Alien Adoption Agency".

Lately I've been playing this mmorpg: ragnarokonline (http://enweb.ragnarokonline.com/r_main.htm)
It's in beta and free so lots of bugs/too many players at any given time during the day.. but the first day I played it got addicted really quick :o so I play it whenever their servers are running (which isn't often lately). :(

I've played most of the others mentioned.. but not heavily... too much going on in those to really be able to work&play at the same time. :D

Really addictive. I'm happy playing "Beach" a million times. The strategy and maps are just perfect. Get a game with 20-28 players that know what they're doing and it's incredible.

(It's a bonus that I can play it on my 22" Cinema LCD Display!)

PS: It doesn't really matter, but I really suck at the game but I still love to play. That's the sign of a perfect game. Kind of like golf...

Starcraft + Broodwar + Warcraft + Tribes + Command and Conquer.

I don't play any games anymore although the above is what I usto play. Especially sc/bw. I was one of the best ;).

1.6 is due out , with major improvements to the half life engine . Anyways , cs is still the most played multiplayer fps game on online , and the second most popular online game next to everquest . Im a cs junkie , i dont play because it got awesome graphics , i play cause its fun .....

Now their server hardware is enviable... I seem to remember 8 x Xeon processors with 4GB of ram per server on the ring, and about 13 servers on each of the 9 korean rings(international has 1 ring :()

Too bad their "staffs" speak "engrish" and seem to be taking advice from cyberwings on how to run a business in the US...(they ban entire guilds for 1 person's actions, stealing their subscription and refuse to unban. )
