Hi all,

I just found out today that if you log into Tera-bytes DNS Control Panel and click on IP Administrator you can see how much bandwidth that has been going to and from your server.

You're missing a little something.. I have a few other lines where it says server name, ip, netmask, gateway and transfer..

Maybe you have the co-branded Control Panel. I've used this CP since I bought the account in december and everything has been the same.

Anyone else seeing the BW-thing??

My control panel shows up a different subnetmask and gateway than 4WS setup on the RaQ.

Should I change it to the values in CP, or leave it as it is (it's working, so why change it?)

Subnetmask: CP=255.255.255.192, Raq=255.255.255.0
Gateway: CP=xx.xx.zz.65, Raq=xx.xx.yy.1 (where zz<>yy)

Do not change it unless there is a reason to change it. I'd recommend you ask support before you modify things like this. If you do so, most likely, you won't be able to access the machine.

Our TB control panel showed it, but it showed something liek 399.9 which I assumed was the total allowed not the total throughput putted through, since I know we barely use 1 GB with all the sites on our server. Perhaps thats what it is, your total allowed and not your total throughput, or it was whacked and they were working on it when we logged in or something like that.

WOW! Must be a new feature and I like it... Only wish mine was lower.

Tera-Byte's DNS server IP addresses are:
ns1.tera-byte.com 216.234.161.11
ns2.tera-byte.com 216.234.161.12
ns3.tera-byte.com 204.209.56.2

Server: combatfs.com IP Address: 216.234.186.***
Netmask: 255.255.255.192
Gateway: 216.234.161.65
Transfer: 24.960 GB

Only downside is now I will be checking it often worring about the limit. :)

PS. If you're looking for a dedicated server no one else can offer it cheaper...
