Hello:

I just recently discovered this forum and am hoping that you knowledgeable folks can help me.

I currently have two sites hosted with Eclipse Hosting and find myself caught in the middle of their moving fiasco. My sites have been down for four days now and I have received no information regarding resolution. All of my inquiries have been answered with stock email responses.

Is anyone familiar with this company? Should I give it more time or move on? Any alternate recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best Regards,
Catherine

Yes, switch to a new host ASAP. I hope your website is copied. Cancel all connections with your current host also. Sometimes I forget to cancel my billing because I get to excited with my new host. lol

Hi Catherine,
I really don't think that kind of downtime is acceptable. If it were me, I would also be gone.

Post a message in the web hosting request forum if you decided to look for a new host. There are alot of good ones here to choose from :)

Good luck

Yes Catherine, 4 days is really unacceptable irregardless of the fact if your website is not making you money or not.....

You pay your host for server uptime and support....

Four days downtime is unacceptable but with no notice of whats going on or other contact from the host its just outragous!! My advice is get your site moved as soon as possible :)

Thanks to everyone for the input.

I have moved to a new host and am happily back online.

This forum is a great resource!
