Some people have been telling me that they are getting JavaScript errors when viewing parts of our web site. This is in some versions of IE.

The address is http://thebe.jtan.com/test. If any users of IE get an error message, would you mind posting it? Thanks. :)

Okay, thanks. Maybe it was IE6 or IE4 giving errors?

That's an error because I didn't copy over the content for the page. Looks like it works in IE5. Anyone have IE4 or IE6?

IE 5.0 under Win95 is OK.

(YES, Win95. I don't want to here it. I have my reasons)

Gary,

I wouldn't worry about Win 95. I use Win98 SE and I have to say there are a few things I prefer about 95. When all said and done it was a small, easier to play with system as far as I was concerned. I'm more concerned with the speed at which Microsoft is starting to release new versions. Once upon a time they used to just release bug fixes for nothing. Now it seems each 'bug fix' is a $100 new version!

I keep 95 on one of 4 computers around my desk just for such a test as this. I use a KMM and switch from the keyboard.

I was just giving the folks around here a chance to tease me.

Thanks for all of your help. I guess all I need to know now is if that menubar displays properly in IE4 without those JavaScript errors. :)

Vincent,

Jeez, IE4? Umm, I can't even begin to think where I'd have a copy of that lying around. It might be off playing with my flock of Do-Do's in the back yard :)

LOL. I guess I'll just stick with the results from IE 5 and 6. ;)
