I currently have accounts at 2 hosts but only one domain name. Is there anything I can do to use the services of the two hosts with only one domain? I was thinking of using one server for development.

Maybe you should get an extra domain, like the .net or .com counterpart.

Not sure how well this would work but you could make a mirror on the 2nd host and then add NS3, NS4 to your domain. Then , I think this is how it works, wich ever host comes up the fastest will serve the domain. However, I would not even think of trying this. Of course you could have email problems then... If you have emails on both servers wich one will your mail client download from?

Try a free DNS service like www.mydomain.com. You can set up different subdomains to point to different websites. Example: http://www.my-example.com http://members.my-example.com &
http://whatever.my-example.com
