Hello! :)

I am looking for a Moderator/Admin position for any kind of Message Board.

I have experience with:

Invision Board
phpBB
UBB
Ikonboard
vBulletin
Ezboard

Unless you have a popular board or a board I would have interest in, I expect to be paid for my work (In US Money, or *maybe* free web hosting). I can also do custom Button/Image sets (Nothing too complicated, though).

For Web hosting Companies:

In addition to Moderating I can provide some Support and help with Pre-Sales questions.

When posting, please provide the following:

1.) Company Name (If Applicable).
2.) URL To your web site and Message Board.
3.) Brief description of your board/web site.
4.) Your Contact information. (E-mail addresses, Instant messenger screen names, .etc)

Thank you,

The Joker

PS- If any of the above need to be installed, I can also do that.

Um... you want people to pay you to scour their bulletin boards?

I believe that's what a Moderator does.

Moderators are active members of a community who decide to voulenteer their time because they enjoy working with the website users.

Not all Moderators volunteer.

Almost all of them are orignal members from the boards that gain respect and are given the oppurtunity.

Lighten up people,

I know a few months ago I saw an advertisement on here willing to pay 2 people 50.00 p/month to be a moderator at his forums (which had 0 members).

Although a lot of mods earn respect and are then promoted, some are just appointed if somebody is starting a new "forum venture".

That's a pretty ignorant thing to say. Unless of course you know all the Moderators in the world.

Just a suggestion geiger and dreamHOBO, you may want to take some time and proof read your posts, or use a spell checker. :)

phpcoder- Thank you!

Proofread is one word.

I am too poor to proofread.

Correct you are!

I didn't know that so proofreading my post wouldn't have helped and the spell checker wouldn't help because "proof" and "read" were spelled correctly. So... :stickout

Also, this is getting off topic. Please don't post unless you have a job offer. :)

Thanks,

The Joker

Then use common sense. And you should have a comma before 'so'.

Don't start with me. You won't win.

Alright. Out of decency I'm not posting anymore. But, The Joker, you don't own this thread.

I didn't know I was such a bad boy until I began posting on this board.

Here is a rule that I really like:

We take the "be polite" rule VERY seriously! We do not tolerate ANY rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive one warning (at our discretion), and if the member offends again the member will be banned without warning.

It is a good thing this rule hasn't been implemented too much!! :)

Sorry Chris, for the post suggesting that someone check their pm.
