I have been cheated real bad by Samuel Barr, from eshorehosting.
I designed their full site here is theirs at my server:

I have not been paid and he has all my files, FLASH swf's and HTML pages.

How can he do that?


I have taken this matter seriuosly with the moderators and also I will take up to the law officials if needed.

Please DO NOT do business with them.

Do not let my hard work be wasted like this.

You should not have given him all the files, before you received payment. That's a rule to follow in web design, do not deliver unless paid.
I hope you get this matter resolved immediately.

Sam Barr at eshore smells like a scam. Although I haven't had any experience with them as far as hosting, I was one of their very first RapidiSupport clients... and they took me for about $500 and I am working now to get it back with an attorney if necessary!

I would trust my dog to host my site rather than Eshore.

Avoid EShore like the plague. They are nothing but scam artists. I too signed up with RapidISupport (based on the recommendation of a few business contacts). They basicially took my $215 and ran. I disputed the payment with PayPal, but they ignored me too.

Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but it'll certaintly be the last time I pay for anything with PayPal ... and the last time I do any type of business with Eshore / Samuel ...

Moral of the story - avoid PayPal, avoid EShore, avoid Samuel Barr like the plague. They are nothing but a bunch of fraud perpetrating con-artists

Clearly, Samuel Barr has defrauded many. Luckily for us we paid for "rapidisupport" with a credit card, and we just recieved the chargeback. I just hope he gets the brunt of it, but knowing him i'm sure someone else (like a third party merchant) will be stuck with it. I don't know how he lives with himself.

janderfox, if you paid with your credit card, get your cc company on the phone right now! I hope 60 days haven't gone by for you as cc companies usually require you to contact them within 60 days of the charge in order to consider a chargeback.

If you're within the limit or very close call them up ASAP and ask them what to do. They'll have a little form for you to fill out, and hopefully you've got e-mails backing up your story. Good luck! I hope Samuel really gets it.

My name is Ben Hawker and I am the owner of Totally Hosted. A lot of you seem to be getting mixed up and say we merged with Eshore, we did not. All we did was buy Eshore's customers.

We also have problems with Mr Barr, we recently bought eshore customers and under our terms Samuel was supposed to pay for our new web design and signup script -guess what, he didn't.

He paid $150.00 deposit for the site (which I paid him back) and then left me with the $350 tab for the website (that by the way I have now given the designer permission to sell as I will not be using it) and the he left me to pick up the tab on the signup script of $388.

I am working with the people to have these paid off, but I will not waste my time on Scum like Mr Barr again.

I am now also out money for another site design.

SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop referring Eshore Hosting as Totally Hosted and remove these posts!
