Sorry to act confused, but I didn't know they had more than one version....what do you mean by perlbill pro? Just visited their site and can't find any mention of a "pro" version.

I would like to know too since I just purchased the ST version and he is telling me that is all they have but there software has some pro programming in it. We couldn't it to run tell he corrected some because of the pro version he said, so I don't no either. We still can't get it to work, the 2checkout intergation. One problem is he is in the UK and we are un the states and he sleeps when we are up so support sucks.

So he is to the point in giving me my money back.

I need it to work and not play games, I am trying to run a business here.

I hope John doesn't get mad at me for saying this because i don't know if he wanted it to go public yet. But there is a PRO version you just have to email him and ask.

I currently own whnbilling, perlbill, phpmanger (which I think sucks the big one and now they email me a million times a day)

whnbilling is the best for hosting companies i think, thats what i plan on using once I start my hosting company up.

PerlBill is great, I love the fact that its open source and i can play with it. I am currently modifying mine to make it work good for the cpanel theme site i am going to open soon. Once my site is open i will post the url so everyone can see a demo of John's great product.

And again I add. I HATE PHPMANAGER. but hey i can't complain, it was like $30. I didn't expect much, but i don't get why people like it so much.

And yes thebyp2 i do have perlbill pro. Just haven't purchased a merchant account yet.

Well I went around with him about 15 emails this morning before he went to bed.
Do you have the software and if so do you have it intergated with 2check out and working?

i don't have 2checkout account but if you look at his site it tells you how to integrate it. I am going to use paypal integration for now. The info on his site suck and don't work that is the reason why I went around with him about 15 emails over this subject. Like I said I don't think he wants to deal with me anymore and that is the for telling me he will refund my money.

I will what tell Sunday and see what he he tells me, how to fix it.

John from Perbill contacted me today and we final have it up and working now. He found a html error in of he's file sent.

I ran a few tests and works fine now.

As far as the Pro Version goes he does have one and it is not a upgrade it is a fresh install only at this time. The differnce is that it has CC intergation done to it.

I asked for price but no reply.

So if you need billing with 2checkout.net and PayPal this will work just graet.

i finally got hold of john, and have established what the problem is. only took 46 days to sort it out!

I purchased Perlbill and had a couple of problems installing on my Raq4. I emailed john, and he was SUPER about getting me up and going. I think anyone who has had a problem with him or his software is pretty much just a ROCK!! (i know i am new, but the truth is out there!)

Just read the post before you open your mouth, undersatnd what the problems were and not what you think.

I'll try to give feedback on it once I get it setup.

john goes through periods of 'delayed responses' though most of the time hes quite good.

precisely... i've sent him at least 3 questions asking him about his perlbill product and no reply. this was about in the time frame of almost a week. hmmm. is this how his support is going to look like if I do put $150 down for the product??

I've also experienced the same problem with John, he's not replied to my ticket in the support system for over a week now. I just wanted to see what new features were added to the PerlBill 1.3 ST version compared to v1.2.

I know john has moved and since they has been kinda slow to respond. Also i know he is working on 1.4. He told me he added a few more features that i requested into the 1.4 beta

John has actually replied to my support ticket, it seems that he didn't answer my question since I opened the ticket the day after the new version came out and a ChangeLog was not done yet... later on he just forgot about it. The reason he's given me is acceptable... he's also sent me to new features in the new version.

Just wanted to update everyone and to tell everyone that John is still around and still answering support tickets.

He did actually send the files right after the confirmation e-mail...my mail server is just slow with large files apparently. Support has been great really! He even helped me make some slight modifications to it also. I should have the final version that was edited up on my site tomorrow night. :)
