I was wondering if there are any good SIP Phone providers for business which allow an 800 number and things like that without requiring the use of a local gateway to run it.

I am looking for a small package with multiple lines instead of using our current Vonage setup.

You could look at callwithus.com which is who we've been using for awhile now. Their service is pretty good, only carrier issues run into thus far (problems caused upstream of them, beyond their reasonable control). As such I'd say it would be fairly stable for you.

www.gafachi.com has the highest quality SIP service we've seen so far. They will allow you to increase the number of simultaneous calls (channels) if you request it--default on an 800 number is 10 incoming.
