Sorry if this is a duplicate thread..... I didn't see any relevant ones open.
Anyone care to comment on their conversion rate using HostVoice? I signed up a few weeks ago and have mixed emotions.

How about you start by posting your conversion rate.

I just registered on there.
Its owned by inet interactive same as wht.
However their website looks like it was setup by a 12 year old.
Images with bad compression, white edges on trasparant images.
Pages on https with elements from http which cause browser security warnings.
Some links are 404 errors.
Its like nobody bothered to check it worked after they put it up.
All this looks like whoever runs this site doesnt really care about it, and if the site owner doesnt even think its worth taking care of, i certaintly wouldnt spend my money there.

Could that be your computer? Everything looks great for me.
I haven't had personal experience as a Host on Hostvoice, however I've used it as a consumer many times. All the big names respond through them, however I've never gotten a response from a small-time firm. So from that, I can guess that only the big companies can afford the conversion rates.
I hope that made some sense.

HostVoice has very mixed reviews on WHT, a good portion of them negative, but I do not think anyone has commented on it recently.
So a updated review would be appreciated by anyone using it :)

I definitely think users of HostVoice should post their experience. I researched before I made the purchase.....and more info would have helped.
I've been pretty disappointed with the leads I received. The price per lead is quite expensive.
I received many dead leads and leads from outside the country. I was, however, credited for the leads outside the USA upon request.
The lead manager has been helpful and polite. Not worth my money, at this point!
Any other thoughts?

Well its a good idea. I put $100.00 in as a test and I have gotten a couple of leads from it Like 3 in 2 or so months. I have not gotten any sales from the site at this point but You get alot of leads for the money and really one sale pays for itself many times over.
I have yet to make a decision on it eather way but if I get one sale for my $100.00 ill put more in.
I am only getting leads for Dedicated servers and Colo.
Its probably not a good idea for shared hosting.

Yeah. I think it's great for Dedicated Servers or Colo.
In fact, the per-lead rate for those is actually less than shared!!

The leads are just slow to come in and dont have a phone number. its much easier for me to sell Colo when I can talk to someone.

I used Hostvoce about a month ago and spent 100 USD, this was when leads costed 1.2 for shared and 1.5 for e-commerce hosting. I got a great number of bad leads where e-mail was not working or when the leads themselves were mixed. I had to ask Robert (and many thanks to him and his great job) about refund fo bad leads and that was time-consuming. I didn`t get a single sale from Hosvoice and now when they increased price per lead up to 6 usd I am not going to participate as I do not see time/money/efforts/sales conversion at all.
