Is there any support/billing system for free? i know WHCM and clientexec but you have to pay for them. Are there any free? maybe with less features but free?

Do not have to be both support and billing.. maybe seperate them.. different system for support and different for billing..

In an another thread I just found http://www.cambill.org not sure how good it is. But you can try as it is free.

I know that some other places are resellers as well and go even cheaper.

AxisHost offers WHMCS for just $9/month I do believe. This may only be to their customers though. You may want to ask them.

I believe the Web Hosters who sell WHMCS can only resell the licenses to their customers.

You are probably right in relation to AxisHost.

However, I know http://www.whmcslicenses.com is licensed to sell to anyone they desire.

I highly recommend getting a license one way or another.

I found PHPCoin a bad fit for most hosting companies...

WHMCS is by far the best system I have worked with. Its well worth the $14.95/mo, and once you use it...you will never think free again.

Free systems are not worth your time. Paying $15/month for a good billing and support system is a small price to pay for what you get out of it. It will save you a lot of time and anger.

Pay for a good billing system, down the track when you grow you will thank yourself.

We have been testing WHMCS for some time now, and found it works very well. Matt, the founder/owner also is very helpful. There are regular updates with new (useful) features continuously being added.

I know you want to save money but lets face it if I was going to signup with your hosting company I want a decent looking and secure billing system. If you look at PHPCoin and WHMCS i'm sure you can see the difference...

I just wanted to thank you guys for recommending whmcs. We have been using Moder Bill for 4 years (painfully). After reviewing WHMCS I see the possility of moving away from Modern Bill and put an end to our nightmares. Thanks again.
