Symbolik9 07-26-2002, 01:07 PM You mean to your right, fractious? ;) Darth 07-26-2002, 01:11 PM fractiousws must be using a weird browser :D Rebel 07-26-2002, 01:25 PM Originally posted by fractiousws I believe this can be done with DHTML but only IFrames, not as the normal scrollbar you see to your left. Well I suppose that would be true if you were the computer looking at the user. :stickout DjPaj 07-26-2002, 01:26 PM why would you want to do something like that? it's like those lights that are on windshield wiper water sprayers, bet you that makes your car go faster... shaunewing 07-26-2002, 01:49 PM It could probably be done, even resorting to something like Flash and substituting flash scrollbars in place of the default ones. But, as DjPaj said - you'd have to ask yourself why you would want to do something like that? Colourful scrollbars are becoming too common and in my opinion detract from a site's look. All they could possibly do is increase load time for the end user which is not a good thing. It's a novelty/trend that will quickly wear off. --Shaun Roy@ENHOST 07-27-2002, 02:41 PM Its quite easy actually. Hope I will not be misunderstood as advertising here but you can take at our site www.enhost.com/cp/ We use images as scrollbar to make it looks as if you are using Windows XP. |
