Well Mr Chris Gentile didn't last long. After his Technohosts bunk and start out as Swiftyhost I thought he may have changed.

I'll cut this one short....

He had a good setup - 2 Hsphere servers from Mike @ Webauthorities.com and they were exceptionally reliable compared to Kikko Chris was with before.

I handled some tech support on Windows/Hsphere for Chris in exchange for hosting. I suppose I can't complain because I got a fairly good deal.

However every month he was late for payment (guess no surprise there then) and eventually I think webauth got fedup with him and he has been shut off.

What makes this worse is that I had a job interview this week and my portfolio website which the interviewer said he was gonna take a look at is now down, as well as my email which they may have tried to contact me by.


Don't trust Chris Gentile, he is an immature child. He doesn't support his customers in any way and is never online either.


Don't trust this wanker. He has quite possibly cost me a job which I have never wanted more. I hope the law catch up with him and screw him for everything and not let him breathe let alone run a business.

Well I have never paid him anything - I never would! Technically I have just received free hosting in exchange for putting in a little work to help out, the bad thing is it couldnt have happened at a worse time with this job and all that.

Not really, I am posting in a public place to warn people from doing business with a comedian like this guy.

I designed SwiftyHost.com in exchange for hosting. I also designed one of the Technohosts designs (the one with the cool graphic in the middle:) ) . Now, they were up for just a few months, and I designed for a hosting account for nothing. If any of you remember the design, I am actually selling it. Once I get my domain name back to me (Chris registered it, and Intercosmos, the registrar, won't answer my emails) I will put it up. He has also cost me design jobs, because my email and site is not up.

I have been burned, so many times by him, and I keep giving him chances. Not anymore.

I actually know Chris Gentile. Hes a good friend of mine. He lives in a beautiful mansion near me. He's a pretty good guy, I cant imagine him doing some of the stuff you guys say. He once got me backstage passes to a Brittany Speares concert before. But I guess all you people can't be lying. Im just as curious as you guys as to why his site vanished.

Of course he does.

He doesn't know a thing about web hosting.
He was never online to support customers.

He is an irresponsible child, who has ripped people off enough times. If he lives in a mansion, why does he need to rip people off?

lol, I'm soprry for bringing this thread back up but I just found it, I had a server with Tim when he was at technohosts then of course got screwed over. I talked to "steve porter" after this and always knew it was really Chris but will never forget the day when "Steve" told me he met with Chris who supposivly worked for him in the mall and when I asked what he looked like he bragged how muscular of a guy was and good looking, good times, good times
