Recently I replaced a fellow at my new job, and took over his computer. He had a piece of WAMP software called Netserver (netserver.hugosoft.net/ - Site is dead).

The guy before me forgot the MySQL password, and I have no idea how to reset it.

My plan was to remove the Netserver files and install another WAMP software. I tried to install XAMPP, but have had problems running apache, since I believe the Netserver software is resident somewhere.

Has anyone experienced anything like this, or have any idea how to reset the MySQL password, or remove Netserver entirely?
