Bad..... It's better to stay away from Powweb... Search previous topics to find out why ;) Synthetic 07-26-2002, 03:31 AM This company is very well known for sending out unwanted spam. Maximiliam 07-26-2002, 12:45 PM There are alot of companies that offer a much better service than powweb. nvphone 07-26-2002, 12:55 PM Up at the top to the right is a search button. Key in this Host's name. Enjoy.................... UmBillyCord 07-26-2002, 02:10 PM Originally posted by Maximiliam There are alot of companies that offer a much better service than powweb. Max, a word of advice. Bashing a competitor and advertising your service through use of a signature will not win friends here. Perhaps when someone ask about your service here, I will reply with the exact same quote you made. RackNine 07-26-2002, 02:45 PM There are alot of companies that offer a much better service than powweb. Might want to back up those claims with data. Never make broad-reaching statements without background information unless you intend to run for office. Sincerely, -Matt Dexter 07-26-2002, 08:26 PM I know of a few that use powweb. I haven't heard them complain so... whatever thats worth :D course I know lot more that used cyberwings and I wish they'd shut up sometimes  mr monkey 08-12-2002, 07:09 PM Powweb rocks, but I'm kinda biased, so why not ask our customers? http://forum.powweb.com RackNine 08-12-2002, 07:23 PM mr monkey, I think the idea was to ask somewhere other than PowWeb. Out of curiosity, why are you dragging up month-old posts? -Matt mr monkey 08-12-2002, 07:28 PM Just being thorough. :) ATST 08-12-2002, 07:54 PM Replying on 08-12-2002 to a thread where the last post was made on 07-26-2002 is being thorough? mr monkey 08-12-2002, 07:54 PM Aww, did I make the kiddies upset? RackNine 08-12-2002, 09:28 PM Aww, did I make the kiddies upset? Well, isn't this a healthy way to advertise yourself to potential clients. I don't mind the idea of being thorough (when done in moderation), but now attacking regular members of this board? Are you sure you're running a serious business? Last I heard stupid snyde remarks like that didn't have a place in the office. Just an oppinion and some words of caution. You may not have or want a single client from WebHostingTalk but it's never good to insult your neighbour. -Matt WashyGirl 08-12-2002, 09:46 PM Originally posted by RackNine Aww, did I make the kiddies upset? Remarks like that can really make people want to stay away from you. I know after reading that, that's how I felt. Nobody wants a childish, sarcastic host. Even though it might be true for most hosts, the majority don't let their clients know it ;) mr monkey 08-12-2002, 09:58 PM "Even though it might be true for most hosts, the majority don't let their clients know it." IC, so it's do as I say, not as I do? Interesting. susannad 08-12-2002, 11:38 PM oh puh-lease some full grown adults can be sarcastic and behave childishly, and some may even be web hosts ... but gosh who in their right mind would chuck a hissy fit in an open forum with potential customers ? I mean, one would have to be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic wouldn't you think ? ATST 08-13-2002, 08:23 AM Right susannad, one expects a certain air of professionalism to be displayed in public by companys we do business with. At this point, even if I were a customer of powweb, I would be embarrassed to say so. |
