Please try to help me on this!

i have few domains, that are being hosted at GoDaddy at a deluxe hosting which means 1 hosting and unlimited domain names.

for example the domain: 'mydomain.com' is the root directory, then the domain 'mydomain1.com' will be hosted at:

rootdirectory/mydomain1/ - etc ...

I can change which domain will take the root directory, etc ...

the problem is that i did some changing for the main domain for the root directory, i actually sold the main domain and i updated the root directory with other domain.

u can access a domain from the main domain also for example:
mydomain.com/mydomain1/ etc ...

then i switched some MX Records to use external email servers (Gmail servers that comes with Google APP)

what happened is that the hosting can not figure the default page to load, it can not locate the index page, whether it is index.php or index.html it doesn't matter. so when i try to access a domain it gives me a page not found.

when i access a domain with a index.php at the end it can find the page, but when i scroll a forum that i own some pages can not work properly when trying to execute orders. for example when i try to send a private message on the forum it shows me page not found again and i need to reload the page - sometimes it works and sometimes not.

my friend is a master of computers and he said the problem is probably with A records or something. the thing is that only I is having this problem, everybody can access the domains, even the support at godaddy, even local friends here. so i thought it is a problem with the PC, so i re- installed windows, and it goes again, that was not the problem! so is it an ISP problem or something?

Try it on a completely different computer in a completely different location. Go to a school or a library.

well i asked my friend to check my domains and he said they all work fine. is it good enough to know that the problem is on my end?

Sounds like there may be something caching the old DNS on your end. It could be the ISP causing the issue, maybe the changes haven't propagated to you yet.

well ok, maybe the ISP haven't updated it yet. so i thought to change the main domain again. what process would cause this to RE-UPDATE, if the update is stuck so if i will re-update it will be ok. so which proccess causing it?

1) changing the main domain of the hosting (so did last night), and the provious domain was on forwarding so i changed to a domain without forwarding.
2) reset the DNS of the domains again.
3) remove and add the domains from the hosting

i also changed some MX Records but that shouldn't effect.

GoDaddy said that when u change the main domain that can take upto 48 hours to take effect and as far as i know, all the domains will be down within that period. should i contact GoDaddy and ask if the domain should be down within that period? because if they do, i think that what caused the problem, and as i changed the domain last night it might solve the problem.

some one?

It could be up to 72 hours. Changing the domain over again, won't force the update, sometimes it just takes that time to do so. Sometimes DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to fully propagate. I had a domain to where I changed the nameservers, and some people could see the site before I could, because they got updated before I did.

well 1 domain i didn't changed anything with it, the DNS in that domain wasn't changed but it is hosted with the hosting which the main domain was changed for.
for other domain that is hosted i just changed the MX records, nothing else, would u say that the following statement is correct:

When u change the main domain, all other domains that are hosted in the same server take effect.

i have the IP of the server, what can i do with it? maybe trace rout or something? i forgot how to do that with CMD line...

i think that 72 hours were passed since i changed the domain but i will wait a lil bit more.

I would take a look at DNSstuff.com or DNStools.com or some of the other DNS diagnostic tools.

hmm ok, well can u run the test from your end, and i will run from my end, and we will cross check errors, etc.

i did DNS test for BeWiseForums (Dot) com

and i got few errors, etc. but then i did same DNS on other domain of a friend that is hosting with GoDaddy and i got same errors too, which should not effect.

what exactly am i search for?

the server has it's own IP: 208.109.181.17

the default DNS for this domains are NS5.secureserver.net and NS6...

Did you ever email GoDaddy support about this issue?

i did emailed them. they said i should contact my ISP cause he was able to load the page properly...
can it be that the ISP blocked the IP of the hosting server?

Do you run any anti virus programs etc, sometimes these can block out pages?

i run nod32 but on a fresh copy of XP and it blocks only those websites which i host on the same server
