I'm thinking of funding a billing software based on Windows and wanted to get your feedback. Will this be something that hosting/isp companies will want and use? I know Linux is a big platform for people here but outside of that will people be intersted in such a product. It won't be free!! :) but it won't cost that much either. Can't mention pricing right now b/c it hasn't started yet.

What do you mean by billing software for Windows? Do you mean a desktop app? (quickbook comes to mind) Or do you mean something like a web based script? (like phpmanager or modernbill)

I don't understand what is the big selling point for it being Windows-based? Especially since php can be run on windows, and thus, (I presume) phpmanager and modernbill can be run on windows as well.

What I mean is a Web Based billing software like Modernbill written in ASP that will run on Windows platform. We'll use ASP .NEt technology to do it. So it won't be PHP or anything like that.

Hope that is clear. There are just allot of software for Linux but not enough for windows that's why I'm looking into this.
