View Full Version : Looking for a reseller.
scenegirl 08-20-2007, 02:39 PM I want to buy a reseller and I would be willing to pay anywhere from $10 to $100 dollars a month. I was looking at HostDime and they seem to have some good plans, but I've seen some mixed reviews about them. Can anyone recommend me to a good reseller hosting company?
Steve_Arm 08-20-2007, 02:43 PM I would recommend hostgator.
UH-Bobby 08-20-2007, 02:46 PM I've heard some pretty good things about HostNine, but I've never tried them. HostDime was good as far as uptime, but the shared server I was on was blacklisted and that caused a lot of problems with my e-mails.
kjawaid 08-20-2007, 03:09 PM i recommend resellerzoom.com failover package
Siropel 08-20-2007, 03:16 PM It really depends on what you need and what you will be using it for. The more details you give, the more we can do to help :)
scenegirl 08-20-2007, 03:41 PM Well at the moment I'm using up to 10gb of space and 150gb of bandwidth, and I'm hosting nine people at the moment and we are using about that much of space and bandwidth. I'm currently in a shared plan but I want to buy a reseller so that the other nine individuals that I'm hosting can have cpanel.
dhcart 08-20-2007, 04:22 PM Our hosting provider is Hostdime for about one year. We generally glad from their services. I recommend them. Also you can find a lot of reliable hosting providers as your budget and needs on WHT. Read the reviews for this. Good luck.
iHubNet 08-20-2007, 05:26 PM Are you looking for more space and b/w or is this more like reliability?
kjawaid 08-20-2007, 05:47 PM Or you can go for fully managed VPS solution which you will get it from $50-90 easily from reliable companies
iHubNet 08-20-2007, 06:16 PM If it's just starting out, you can go with reseller plans to save bucks..

if you have $100 to spend, you might as well invest in a VPS/dedi solution. More space, Better specs, and perhaps sometimes managed.
Although if you dont have a clue on server administration, then yes, go with reseller.
There are tons of reseller plans in the offers section so you can for sure find one there. Do some research! :) good luck!

I'm looking for a reliable host, but more space and bandwidth is a plus but it's more reliability.

I was going to buy a VPS or Dedicated but since I don't know much about them, I just decided to go with a reseller since I'm familiar with that.

If you go with a managed VPS solution it will work as a reseller program with more space and bandwidth .. you don;t have to worry about OS updates .. security issues etc
kjawaid 08-21-2007, 05:36 AM and one more thing in VPS you can create your own resellers .. its a big advantage
Mxhub 08-21-2007, 08:19 AM I'm looking for a reliable host, but more space and bandwidth is a plus but it's more reliability.

I think you hit the important point there. Reliability is important since your business depend alot on that.
I do not recommend getting a VPS or dedicated server if you do not know how to manage a server. I suggest get a reseller hosting account while let the backend handle by your host.
Trexhost 08-25-2007, 12:18 AM Hostgator is known for some reseller plans that start at $10 as well. You may want to give them a shot

I wouldn't recommend going with any reseller plan that just costs $10 a month if you're going to be hosting customers and charging them.
Good luck with your search.
