Our company logo is in need of a Re-design and we have decided to Offer a $50 Design contest to the Talented people here on WHT.

We need your help in coming up with a better design - clean, Simple and effective design. We will award $50 to the person who designed the chosen logo...

See our current LOGO (http://www.raq4less.com/images/logo.gif). We like this one, but it's simply too DULL. We want the new logo to contain more colors, match our Website's color scheme closer, and be unique.

We want a New logo for an upcoming BRANDING Ad campaign for Raq4less.com (http://www.raq4less.com).

cactus - try to stay away from drop shadow kind things in logos

zhao - gradients normally dont work well with logos. they are typically solid colors.

i've got just a few minutes (about 5 min) to put together something. it isn't going to be good , but ill re-enter later.

I don't think i'll make any entries since its only $50. I work with much more expensive logos. But if in the end, you still dont have anything you like 100% , i might make one.

I will however, offer advice on how to make the submitted logos better.

Cactus - Try switching the colors around on the 4 and text. In other words, make the text (#000099) and the 4 (#66CC00). Don't use an outline on the text. And make sure the colors on the stuff on the right are both (#000099) and (#66CC00).

Your welcome cactus. One more thing. Your little thing on the right of the text still isnt the right colors. Make sure the blue is #000099 and the green is #66CC00.

Oops! didn't noticed that as I used the dropper on the original logo to get the color. DoobyWho, you sure have a sharp eye for colors also besides your logo talent. I have changed it to #000099 Thanks again.

There have been a lot of really good logo's submitted and I see a couple that I sorta like. I'd need to share my idea's with the designer and see if they would make a couple modifications.

I'm looking for something that can be used as a branding LOGO. IT will be used on our Website, Business Cards, Stationary, Embroidered on Promotional Golf Shirts, and even SilkScreened on T-shirts and Hats. It must look good in small and when used enlarged to 8 1/2 x 11 size.

:eek2: Oh crap, now I've let the cat out of the bag! We're going to be giving away shirts soon :nuts:

I must say, though, I think when contests are conducted here at WHT, there should be a closing date declared from the outset. In my opinion, leaving it open-ended indefinitely is unfair to those who took the time and effort to participate.

Here's a couple from me. I've done two colour variations, one in matching colours from your current design, the other slightly more subtle. I can make animated versions (Move the lines up/down etc.) for the web if you like the design.
