View Full Version : GrandCentral.com - Is anyone using this for their business?

I've been testing out the Grandcentral service since late last year, but I have only begun incorporating it with my other business tools in the last month. Has anyone thought about using it with their business? And especially since Google bought out the company, does anyone think this is going to be Googles answer to Vonage?

Last time I checked it was against their TOS to use it for a business. If you do I would not advertise it.

I actually know of alot of people that are using Grandcentral for business. They even have a feature called Webcall where you can place a button on your website and have people such as customers, call you directly. I think they might need to update their TOS to make it alittle more clear though.

yes, GC did update the tos... or at least they advertise for people to use it in their business (ebay, online, etc).

I thought about using it, but it is a beta program... I would use a beta program in my business, but not one like this... although, I am tempted.

Heck, with the online button calls, the caller cannot see your telephone number... cool...

I found GC the other day and love it so far.....

Hmmm looks promising. Although google seems to keep their products in beta forever.

Grand Central is not for commercial use.
From their current TOS:

Got my account a few days ago. I think its an awesome service. Only drawback for me is, they didn't have any numbers in Canada :(

It's a great service isn't it? I'm currently using it to allow family members back home to call me locally so that it doesn't charge them long distance :)

They love it too!

GrandCentral really is a great utility for businesses, I used it a while back. Too bad they got rid of that RingShare feature where you could upload custom MP3's, I loved that because you could upload custom messages that announce your business etc.. like your ISP has.
