Hello,

Last year I read an interesting article somewhere on the web that China is becoming the world leader in IT outsourcing because the salary for an experienced web developer would be much lower than for example in India. In this article there was written that in China there are Web development companies and each of them employ up to 8,000 and more programmers. Companies from abroad can choose which of these programmers should work on their project and they do it by reading the resumes of these programmers. The rest is coming to work and doing nothing except learning the newest trends and technologies until they get hired for a new project.

Do you know any Web development companies form China which are very good in Java programming, for example?
Do you know the name of the company which was mentioned in that article I am referring to?

What is your experience with China-based Web development companies?

I have made horrible experiences with companies from India (mainly because of their mentality and work ethics) and with Ukrainian programmers (alcoholics, always late at work, start work at 12 and later).

Thanks.

I don't understand how these dang offshore outsourcing companies work. When I search for anything selling on the "internet", it doesn't matter where in the world the service/product is originating from, as people (ie. the sellers or companies) all seem to have a wonderfully brilliant grasp on what the market value of their product/service is so they charge accordingly.

So it makes me wonder about the channels in which you contact these cheap asss workers' companies. Are their companies really advertising rates and their services on the internet, or is this some crap where you have to hunt them down like some prized drop shipping parts suppliers, etc.

It would be good if you just response to my question.

I like outsourcing to countries like China because they have much more people than we can imagine. So the likelihood to hire an experienced Java programmer is much higher there than anywhere else.

If you don't want to reveal the name of the company publicly, you can send me a boardmail.

Thanks.

Greetings!

The main issue may be on language barrier because some may not be fluent in English.

But, of course if the cost-effective project is what is needed, there is no problem outsourcing anywhere.

As to what companies? I have no idea. Try Google. But, as andygen pointed out their website may have been written in Chinese. Just try.

Take care everyone!
