To the owner of this forum, I think you should switch to infopops UBB. I have a copy of it if you want to borrow it(wink wink). Just a thought.

i switched from the ubb to vbulletin and was glad i did.
with many posts ubb can grind to a halt, let alone the pain installing it, vbulletin to install is a dream.

Yeah I guess your right, this forum is active as hell. UBB can be slow as hell sometimes.

? UBB sucks period. Switching from VB to UBB would be the move of an idiot.

yep that is friggin true UBB sucks big time :P after our server crashed every week or so, we decided to get rid of it and use blazeboard.com's yaBB :P

The question is why? VB has too many advantages over UBB to even list. It's faster, less processor intensive, easier to setup/admin, and more user friendly.

Thanks, but no thanks. In the moderators' opinions (and many others on this forum) vB has many advantages over UBB, particularly in terms of database interface, speed, processor usage and other factors.
