That's reminds me of when I played baseball. Ya know how they said 'good eye, good eye.' yeah needless to say my career batting average was like .00000521. Although seeing as I was a pitcher my ERA was about the same. So I don't really care about my batting average. Of course then I was forced into retirement after some guy drilled a line drive right back at my head. That sure was a pleasant feeling. Funny thing was that I could see the ball coming at me in slow motion, but I'm thinking that I might have saw that when I was knocked out.

but I can't do much anything that would cause me to hit my head for the next year since a plate was just put in there since I was working on the ole' car and it fell on me with a U bolt on the sway bar puncturing my skull and came close to hiting my brain.

Yes i was awak the whole time and i heard my skull crush but thought it was my leg instead of my head :(

I'm not allowed to kayak or rock climb becasue I have dislocated my right shoulder twice, and if I do it again its totally screwed for life and surgery would be needed.

But thats not as bad as having a U bolt enter your skull.

yea thats no joke its been a really boring month I hav'nt done anything with the car club and i'm the youngest in it and I missed doing that although I did get to goto the car show @ Hooters this past sunday but I had to miss church to go but either way hopefully I won't look like to big of an idiot with this scar on my face and can get back into the swing of things.

man i read that hope everything is fine now, I know that I should have been alot worse, you know you hear about people having cars fall on them 1.) not on thier head 2.) only on thier legs

so usually if a car falls on you it will cut off your legs or squish you and kill you. not only did the whole back end of a car fall on me with no tires on it so it was jacked off pulling my head off the ground since a bolt was in it then it fell I feel so blessed that words can not explain :) and i went from garage -> ER -> surgery first night ICU that next morning and that evening 8pm went to hospital bed and was there for 2 days and when i left ICU i could'nt even move my leg without almost crying from pain since it folded my leg to my face but not sure how but friday night before i left which was the 3rd night i left on 4th day i was racing my cousin the one in the picture in wheelchairs so I really thank GOD all the time that he saved my life and i guess i've learned to live life day by day knowing that it could all be over in an instant just like you said

p.s. on your page said thinking back having nightmares i dont have nightmares but when i think back about it makes me have like coldchills and things because of how bad it physically hurt and having skull crush while your leg is foled up at your face but everything turned out for the best and hopefuly my insurance pays for it and hopefully it will help others that get under thier cars to take better precautions as on that page somone else was working on thier car and had got mad at his dad for checking on him now he said he felt bad about it.

so all in all thats my last month minues the car spinnout :)

When my accident occurred it was on a Thursday. I was taken to the hospital and they thought I was already dead. The staff at the ER was surprised that I was not and I was in and out, walking, within a couple of hours. I ended up going back to work on the following Monday which was extremely too soon. Within a couple of months, maybe sooner, I would wake up at night dreaming of everything all over again. It wasn't a pleasant experience. My only reason for talking about it is because it helps me to move on. Some people would rather not even look at the photos but not me. After awhile I finally got the the point of accepting what happened. For me, it didn't happen right away. Everyone is different so what happened with my experience including the nightmares may not happen for you. But good luck with yours and hopefully others can learn from these incidents and prevent similar situations from occurring.

Oh' yes, and keeping with the theme of this thread, here's a picture of myself and my daughter back in February. Obviously we are hockey (NHL) fans and just so happen to be sporting the championship teams jerseys... :D

Welcome to europe. There are like 3 or 4 different types of hotels. From hostel to 4 star, each one is priced differently and has different accomidations. Makes traveling in europe more affordable and fun than here in the US, imho.

That just hits a nerve with me.

If I am ever blessed to ever have a daughter. I would take a bullet for her I would suffer the most agonizing disease on this planet if it meant she was spared.

I would not slap her little face among domain names just to people would look at her cuteness and then the domain names.
Its bad enough if a father did that, but a MOTHER ……makes me sick.

It’s the lowest of the low in my opinion. Don’t try the friendliest forum stuff with me.

I put Madi's picture there on my own and for that I have no apologies. The choice presented me was either a simple GIF or nada and I already had the photo from prior correspondence. "Patch," I put it there.

Whether it LOOKS STUPID or not is a judgment call, who knows, who cares. I view it as a desktop picture and that's the extent of it. Its placement has nothing to do with selling names or exploiting your offspring. The site itself looks very tacky, I admit, but the price was right.

And the next time you decide to dress someone down for a real or imagined shortcoming, have your post proofed for spelling and grammar. Give me brake girl LOL.

I definately cannot do that... I cannot afford to replace all the monitors that would break worldwide :eek: That is the primary reason that there isnt many photos of me, that and I do not like cameras... Cameras dont bother me when I'm behind them though.

I was never the typical "geek" anyways...

In high school, I was in sports (Varsity), in bands (aka guitars - not trumpets)... musicals, plays.... But I also did the computer thing, websites (I was the school's webmaster), and worked on the network servers, etc... And I was fairly popular....

But I've never looked "geeky"

Giovanni Ribisi is not only good looking, but he is a GREAT actor. Especially for someone who isn't "big" like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. He can play any role and do an excellent job, that just kicks ass in an actor :D
