I have a question....why is it so hard to purchase stickies half the time in some of these forums?

Well to be honest, it has a lot to do with the admins running the forums, and watching the requests + paypal. It's pretty easy here, we have some cool admins :)

When you take a look at how large the userbase for WHT is you can get an idea of the demand that exists for stickies in many of the most common locations. This is prime advertising for many markets. As such the stickies in the popular locations get backordered for quite a while.

Last time I purchased a sticky it was pretty quick and painless. Make the purchase, submit the URL, and let the system do the rest.

Admins don't organise the advertising, we leave that to iNet ;)

When we bought our sticky in the shared hosting forum, had to buy it almost 3 months in advance and you have to get them as soon as they go up.

EDIT: after reading the other posts, are you talking about actually being able to buy them or the process after you've bought them?
