Hello, The company I work for is currently offers web hosting as a secondary product, as such it has been neglected as of late. We don't have the resources to manage dedicated servers ourselves as our other products are currently the focus but do need some to do the management/support stuff. We currently have tier 1 support, they can fix the little things like incorrect account settings, some DNS stuff ect. but there knowledge is limited. What we need is a company that we can have manage the day to day running of the servers and handle more tech problems (emails bouncing, installing modules). We normally get 1-2 issues a day that require further assistance. At the moment we host ~1000 accounts ranging from simple email to larger database driven sites. Our current reseller who I will not name offers little or not support. Currently we are unable to manage any accounts as we changed our office IP and they have not granted CP access to this yet. This has gone on for over 48 hours and multiple phone calls have not found a solution to what is a very easy problem. An automated solution to creating new accounts would be ideal. I have been recommended H-Sphere. Are there any others. We need both *nix and windows servers. What we require is: Fast and capable support. We don't want to wait 3 hours for a phone monkey to place an internal ticket which takes 48 hours to answer but does not solve the problem. 24 hour trained support staff is what we need. I expect most issues to be resolved in 6-12 hours or less. As we are a global company having servers located in multiple continents would be preferred.We are spending US$3,500/mo at our current provider and do not feel that we are getting our moneys worth. Is this a suitable budget and are we being realistic about our requirements. Any feedback or recommendations would be appreciated. |
