OK heres the deal I downloaded some .avi and .mpg files but when I go to play them windows media player opens and all I can hear is sound? Any clues? Thanks in advance!

Their prob .avi files and media player wont play .avi files unless you install a decoder (I believe)

No its not the porn videos those all play fine ;) Thanks for your help though. Someone told me I might need a DiVX player?! so maybe I will give those a shot..

As cbaker17 menched, I also think that you are in need of a decoder. Do a search for an AVI decoder and you should be in luck.

Cool thanks.. I will give that a ****.. I downloaded one called UltraPlayer but it did nothing for me all I could still hear was the sound.. So I will give it a shot.. Thanks..
