In early July, I paid a full year in advance. They hung aroung about a month -full of problems...and now they have stopped answering email and support tickets. Their site will still take your order...(http://www.lxserverdirect.co.uk/)

Don't!!!

What is one to do??? Can PayPal assist in this if I suspect fraud?

Which country are you in as that can give you options.

Thanks...

I'm in the USA.

It's only $60.00 us, I just don't want anyone else to get taken by this guy...

Try a Paypal chargeback if they don't respond then. You might not get it though as its intangible goods

At that kind of price-level, you can expect support to only be available the last Thursday of alternate months !

Sorry to hear of your woes, but you dont get what you dont pay for ... Adding a zero onto the end of your budget will increase the chance of a good service.

yea tell me, been a duport customer since 9/8/06.

still waiting for that buyout email too...
and i did submit a support ticket 5/9/07

(othello bought out duport ;-)

at $20 i can afford several backups, never know when the million dollar datacenter will fry a 2400 amp breaker. stuff happens, no matter what you pay.

I hope you are speaking of lxserverdirect's "Darren".

He is giving all you UK folks a bad name...

In fairness, my support tickets were answered a few minutes after my post.
