I was out of country for few months and one of my domain names expired somewhere in February 2007.

Now at that page is some advertising site, (check attachment)

Is there any way to get this domain name back?????

Thanks

You might have to buy it back from the current owner I'm 'fraid. If the domain name is not too important, I'd say just wait it out quietly or let it go...

contact your domain registrar. The page that you show us seems to be from eNom registrar.

Contact them but be prepared to pay US$160 to renew this domain name. It has gone into the redemption mode thus you have to pay such a huge amount.

In future, i suggest set auto renewal. This save you the time from spending unnecessary money to redeem expired domain.

If the domain has been registered by someone else, then you have no choice. You can:

1. Wait until it expires and then try to get it. If the current owner does not let it expire, then you could be waiting a looong time.

2. Contact the owner and try to buy it from them.

If the domain has "just" expired, then you might get lucky and you might find that the domain is in "Extended Renewal Period", which is usually what eNom does with domains that they can't sell via auction after they expire... so they jack the price of "renewal" up to $160.

If you're lucky, then that is an option. You'll need to contact eNom to determine if this is the situation.

Hi,
Your Domain is now registered with someone else, you cant get it now through registration, the only way is to contact that person and buy it from him at his desired price!

Best of Luck

seems one of those domain that enom keeps after expiration.

doubt you'll be able to get the name back, they tend to keep domains with some traffic forever...
