You should be a little more coherant while posting here on WHT ;-) . Fahd 07-24-2002, 09:09 AM Anonymously, I dont think so! One can always lookup IP ownership, etc! Mike of WA had a post about bulk reselling dedicated servers in the Dedicated Special Offers forum! citrus 07-24-2002, 09:16 AM Originally posted by WebHozt Mike of WA had a post about bulk reselling dedicated servers in the Dedicated Special Offers forum! located here: http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=61740 Fiber 07-24-2002, 09:16 AM Mike Austin of WA has an offer in the Dedicated Special Offers forum here at WHT, so check that out. successful 07-24-2002, 11:00 AM Can someone give me the low down on WA please ? Are they any good ? How is their support etc ? AcuNett 07-24-2002, 12:30 PM clocker was thinking that you are going to purchase a dedicated server at regular price and resell at a markup price which IS scamming, although if you can sell it cheaper than the company sells it regularly, that wouldn't be considered scamming. citrus 07-24-2002, 12:35 PM Originally posted by successful Can someone give me the low down on WA please ? They seem like an okay choice...:) successful 07-25-2002, 12:44 AM Originally posted by AcuNett clocker was thinking that you are going to purchase a dedicated server at regular price and resell at a markup price which IS scamming, although if you can sell it cheaper than the company sells it regularly, that wouldn't be considered scamming. I wouldn't do that since it would not make much business sense. I tend to disagree with you though......If I lease a dedicated server from say VO and I lease it to someone else for $100 more than what I pay for it........that would not be scamming, that would be smart. I dont think it would be considered scamming if they remove a setup fee for a higher monthly price, or provided managment for the server beyond what the original company does. mrzippy 07-25-2002, 01:14 AM I think any company that set up an affiliate program for selling dedicated servers would make a killing. There's TONS of resellers out there that would LOVE to put a "click here for dedicated" link on their site and make some money. Most people would expect $50 per signup or more. (Considering that it's one signup you WOULDN'T have received if it wasn't for the reseller.) If anyone has an affiliate program like this, then post it in the offers forums and you'll see the interest appear. |
