has anyone got a server in his OWN datacenter?
Tim, what kind of support staff do you put in the data center? I heard your parents work for you as employees.
I just though I'll open another thread to discuss the new benefits we can aquire from Tim and his excellent staff and his OWN datacenter.

We don't OWN our Data Center. We use Colo4Dallas. Which is our data center cause we use it just like it is Alan's Data Center.

But then he can't reboot them for you. You didn't think he actually pushed the button did you? We always keep a few spare chimps around for remote reboots. Yes, these are our chimps, we own them. They are not chimps we lease from someone so rest easy folks.

So you have a staff for paradise-designs.net wich runs 24/7 and you have a staff working on your colo which is also 24/7.
Few reliable sources tell me that you're in this colo business for quick cash. True?

Again, think along the lines of "my bank manager", "my butcher", "my staff", "my technicians". I knew a host who kept on going about "their techs" etc...These turned out to be just the techs who worked in the datacenter that worked on an hourly rate etc. :eek:
It's all part of the marketing spin that 99% of hosts [my guess] use to boost themselves up to something that they're really not. "our technicians", "our datacenter", "our 50 Million dollar datacenter"...etc....etc...etc...:rolleyes:
