For one of my upcoming sites, I'm going to use a certain small background on certain pages, but would like to have a special text on each [this font is not one that comes installed on computers already.]

Problem is, there will be different information on the small background on each page. I know that using sIFR is really only for headlines & the other option I know of is to make images of each one. And embedding is out of the question. Are these the only options or is there something else I can do?

you can save the background and the text as on image - .jpg or.gif whatever...
or may be you are asking something else and I can't get the question :)

The only way you can do what you're asking is to either make an image, or use Flash.

If the person browsing doesn't have the font, they won't see it if you just put it in. It's highly recommended to use nothing but common fonts on web design for that very reason

Yeah. I think I'll just go with making images because not everyone has flash. Won't be hard. The rest of the site will have a common font though.

Thanks for the input!
