I happened to come across AnyPay. Here -> http://www.anypay.com/site/ml/eng/htm/home/index.htm

It's pretty much a copy of Paypal and I'm hoping this isn't a scheme to get people's information. Anyone use them? Is this just a sceme? Or are they for real?

If it's just a copy of Paypal, why not just use Paypal?

Because Paypal has it's downsides... if they are a seperate company, maybe they're better?

Perhaps. Anyway, Paypal is being taken over so the argument is kind of moot.

Hi
If i was you, i would stick with PayPal rather than go with a company you know nothing about and cannot trust. It isnt worth the risk of fraudulent use of your card details in my opinion.

I use PayPal because a lot of customers already have accounts. Before I got my merchant account this year, I ran other credit card orders through the same company that provides registration services for my software.

If you have a merchant account, I have heard good things about Authorize.net overall. I use a more simple virtual terminal provided by FirstData/Wachovia Bank. The yourpay.com site is run using software from LinkPoint.

So did anyone ever end up using Anypay? Old thread I know, but, I'd rather not start a new thread about it.

I just want to be able to receive payments and deposit them to my bank account (in Austria). With PayPal I HAVE to have a credit card (I don't have one NOR do I want one) in order to deposit money into my bank account. It's a joke.

Weird, the quick reply window kept timing out, so, I did a normal reply, but, then it was a double post.

But yeah, question still stands, thanks for any help.

Well I don't use AnyPay. I use 2CheckOut, PayPal and NoChex. I'd probably use AnyPay to offer clients more choice, but my billing software doesn't support it...

They aren't really new, they just don't have their person - person thing finished. I think they are 1 or 2 years old and mainly for businesses it seems.

Blast it, PayPal sucks in the EU!
