View Full Version : Is this credit card processor for real?
mas3000 07-24-2002, 12:21 AM I happened to come across AnyPay. Here -> http://www.anypay.com/site/ml/eng/htm/home/index.htm
It's pretty much a copy of Paypal and I'm hoping this isn't a scheme to get people's information. Anyone use them? Is this just a sceme? Or are they for real?
petertdavis 07-24-2002, 01:12 AM If it's just a copy of Paypal, why not just use Paypal?
mas3000 07-24-2002, 01:15 AM Because Paypal has it's downsides... if they are a seperate company, maybe they're better?
petertdavis 07-24-2002, 01:17 AM Perhaps. Anyway, Paypal is being taken over so the argument is kind of moot.
barrywien 07-24-2002, 08:42 AM Hi
If i was you, i would stick with PayPal rather than go with a company you know nothing about and cannot trust. It isnt worth the risk of fraudulent use of your card details in my opinion.
AtlantaWebhost.com 07-24-2002, 10:13 AM I use PayPal because a lot of customers already have accounts. Before I got my merchant account this year, I ran other credit card orders through the same company that provides registration services for my software.
If you have a merchant account, I have heard good things about Authorize.net overall. I use a more simple virtual terminal provided by FirstData/Wachovia Bank. The yourpay.com site is run using software from LinkPoint.
skylab 05-22-2003, 05:19 AM So did anyone ever end up using Anypay? Old thread I know, but, I'd rather not start a new thread about it.
I just want to be able to receive payments and deposit them to my bank account (in Austria). With PayPal I HAVE to have a credit card (I don't have one NOR do I want one) in order to deposit money into my bank account. It's a joke.
skylab 05-22-2003, 05:20 AM Weird, the quick reply window kept timing out, so, I did a normal reply, but, then it was a double post.
But yeah, question still stands, thanks for any help.
Bashar 06-08-2003, 06:32 PM as i read from anypay they do support international customers like kuwait maybe
OneStopHost 06-08-2003, 08:08 PM Well I don't use AnyPay. I use 2CheckOut, PayPal and NoChex. I'd probably use AnyPay to offer clients more choice, but my billing software doesn't support it...
hmm they are german company.
Angel78 06-09-2003, 05:34 AM and that's bad? :)
qubefactor 06-09-2003, 08:16 AM Germans = Uber
\m/
jpetrov 06-09-2003, 09:47 AM German company usually means good... Very good...
Bashar 06-09-2003, 12:25 PM Germen means Audi and Porsche! ;)
but whats scares me that they are new
skylab 06-09-2003, 01:04 PM They aren't really new, they just don't have their person - person thing finished. I think they are 1 or 2 years old and mainly for businesses it seems.
Blast it, PayPal sucks in the EU!
Toeki 06-09-2003, 02:20 PM Seems like their signup link doesn't work..
I get " The page cannot be displayed "
traixanha 06-09-2003, 10:21 PM Paypal forever ...;)
