K, I think I thought I was losing it with my first hosting support email today, thier DNS servers were pointing to a year old plus dns server we ditched when we swapped company names and locations and servers all in one move.

I am now fielding my 5th request for a downed site and all seem related to networksolutions.com and web.com domain names.

Perhaps older hosting places are not seeing this as thier dns servers haven't changed, but ours did over a year ago.

Did this companies servers fry and all they had was a year old set of backup records to use?

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing similar issues or if anyone's heard any news.
