Hey guys!

I just transferred a domain I had at Namecheap to Answerable (Directi).

I received the Authorisation Mail and also authorised the transfer. The problem is that I was using this domain as a nameserver for my webhosting services.

I had registered nameservers ns1.thatdomain.com and ns2.thatdomain.com

I don't find how to register the nameservers in LogicBoxes/Answerable/Directi Control Panel.

Could anyone help me in the matter?

I shouldn't have transferred this domain when I was soo sleepy without analysing the consequences.

This is a SOS!

Talked with Answerable Support and they said it could be done but, I also need to create the A Records either at my host or with them after purchasing Managed DNS service for $0.99.

Since, this domain is serving my clients as nameservers I donot want to transfer it away to them.

I think I'll decline the transfer when Namecheap sends me a authorisation email. But, it may take 5 days for that and I have very little time left for the expiration.

Tried Renewing the domain at Namecheap but renewing failed, reason: "Name cannot be extended. Registry response is: Object status prohibits operation"

Tried locking the domain out so as to HALT the transfer but, even it's NOT getting locked.

Namecheap Support says it's too late to STOP the transfer. :(

Domain has stayed at Namecheap.

Answerable Phone Support is good. So, is Namecheap's.

e-network here helped a lot.
