Haven't they mentioned in this forum that it will be in Chicago again next year?

Yup. I believe it has already been agreed that Chicago is the place, and I believe the reason for that was something along the lines of it being hard to grab location contracts without agreeing to at least two years.

Yeah, definitely Chicago next year and possibly Chicago the year after was what I was told.

The problem with LA is that everything is such a distance from everywhere else.

If they can get good pricing in Vegas though, it'd be good to be there again.

That's what a lady told us when she came by to see if we were exhibiting (that it would be in Chicago again).

Denver is nice :)

Plus I think Europe people will have a hard time adjusting anyway. 6-7 hours time difference is enough but 8-9 is a bit to much.

I think they can break their contract after the kitchen was closed down for health violations right after we left. My stomach is still hurting.

Ideally everyone would like it closer to them but Chicago is one of the top places to hold a convention and from the looks of the photos and the comments on how smooth it went (compared to Vegas), I would think Chicago will continue to host this fine event.

Many might not know this - but in the Medical realm - conventions are 90% of the time always held in the same place at around the same time to help with planning and to keep a level of professionalism and consistency. I would suspect that Hostingcon will mimic this approach instead of jumping from town to town - making each year a mystery for the attenders on what to do, where to go, where to stay etc.

To be honest it could have been in a town of 300 with a lake, a pier, my hotel and the 33rd floor of the W for all I and most the people I spoke to saw of it so really the talk of different locations really do relate to the concept of where it is and how close it might be to any individual

Given that my trip was abut 4 hours each way from Argentina and I expect the next one will be from AUS I couldn't really care the physical location but I certainly plans 2 or 3 days either end next year to actually see something of Chicago lol
